Fruits have been found to be an important source of different types of nutrients and vitamins. The different types of vitamins in fruits have been found to contribute to important biochemical reactions and thus play a definite role in contributing to the healthy functioning of the human body.

Vitamins in fruits also play an important role in facilitating the growth and development of different human beings. Vitamin A is one of the vitamins in fruits. For example, Vitamin A is present in different fruits such as watermelon, blackberry, peach, kiwi, apple, etc. This vitamin plays a significant role in the process of cell reproduction as well as the formation of different hormones. Not only this but an essential role is also played by this vitamin in order to ensure optimum growth and development of the body. This vitamin in fruits also plays an important role in carbohydrate metabolism. Vitamin B2 is found in Kiwi. Though most fruits are not essential sources of this vitamin.

Yet another vitamin in fruits is Vitamin B3. Vitamin B3 has been found to be present in fruits such as peach, watermelon, kiwi, etc. It plays an important role in ensuring a smooth function of the digestive as well as nervous systems. It is also very important for the normal functioning, growth, and development of the body.
