Prevention

  • Many skin problems can be prevented by following a few simple routines.
  • Include Omega3-fatty acid supplements in diet (flax seeds, fish, salmon, and walnuts are good, natural sources)
  • Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, preferably raw
  • Keep away from alcohol and sugar as they weaken the immune system
  • Switching cosmetics when you observe a small eruption on the skin may make it more severe.  Only after the eruption has subsided and the skin area is free of infection, can you think of changing the brand of your favorite cosmetics!
  • Try to filter drinking and bath water to prevent allergic reactions to chlorine
