As we have discussed late the Benefits of Homemade foods, so today we are going to say you how to prepare homemade food for a baby? Check out the recipes:

Fruits & Vegetables Puree
As soon as your baby is ready to take solids you can start with apple puree. The first starts with Fruit puree then tries the vegetable puree. After some time your baby will be ready to taste almost all types of fruits and vegetable puree. The process to make any kind of puree is:
- Wash and peel the fruits and vegetables.
- Cut in the piece and give them one boil
- Mash it properly
- Add a pinch of rock salt to it.
- Ready baby to taste it.
Make sure that any fruits and vegetables are not allergic to your baby. First time give them in small quantity. If it is properly digestible then increase the quantity.

Homemade cerelac
If you can give your baby a healthy homemade cerelac then why waste money n some packed foods. Homemaking cerelac is too much time consuming but it is sure that your baby will get healthy nutrients from this as compare to the packed food packing. Have a look at the process of making homemade cerelac:
Ingredients
Ragi, bajra, wheat, orange corn, white corn, Brown rice, Green gram, moong dal, fried gram, urad dal, Almonds, Cashew nut, cardamom, and dry ginger.
- Take all the whole grain and dals ingredients in less than a half bowl.
- Add 2-3 cashew nuts and almost to it.
- Cardamom and dry ginger are optional. if you want to add then take only a pinch of both the item.
- Soak all the whole grain ingredients and dry fruits in water for the overall night but separately.
- Drain them and tie the items in a piece of cotton cloth separately to make them dry properly.
- After 8-9 hours they will become sprouts and you know that sprouts are very good for our health.
- Roast all the sprouts and dry fruits separately.
- Once you are done with roasting then mill it into powder and add cardamom and dry ginger to it.
- Your homemade cerelac is ready and now store it in airtight containers.
- When the baby wants to eat then add water to it and boil it by adding turmeric, rock salt to it.
- The cerelac is ready to eat.

Brown Rice Powder
The brown rice powder is very good and healthy to eat. If you want to give your baby a single grain then brown rice powder is good.
- Soak the Brown Rice for the whole night.
- Make then dry in fan and if you are putting it under sunrays then cover it with a soft cotton cloth to avoid the harmful sunrays effects.
- Roast them by adding a small amount of ghee to it
- Mill it and make thick powder.
- You can give it to your baby by adding milk and water.
- If you are boiling it with milk then add sugar to it. It will taste like sweet Kheer.
- If you are making it with water then add a pinch of turmeric, rock salt to taste, and a pinch of chili powder only if your baby is comfortable with it.

Moong Dal Powder
Moong dal is very good for a baby’s health. Every parent should give it to their babies to build a strong immune system
- Soak the Moong Dal for the whole night.
- Make then dry in fan and if you are putting it under sunrays then cover it with a soft cotton cloth to avoid the harmful sunrays effects.
- Roast them by adding a small amount of ghee to it
- Mill it and make thick powder
- Prepare it by adding turmeric and rock salt to it to taste better.

Rice and Dal Powder
You can make a combination of moong dal and rice powder to change the taste of your baby. You have prepared powders. mix them both and boil it by adding rock salt, turmeric, and a little bit of sugar to it.

Upma
The upma is one of the most popular and loving dishes all over.
- Roast the raagi. You can roast it in large quantities and can be stored in an airtight container.
- Wash and Cut the vegetables which include, potato and tomato for baby.
- Fry it in a small quantity of Homemade Ghee by adding asafetida, rock salt, and a pinch of turmeric to it.
- When the vegetables are cooked then a little water and roasted Raagi in it. Leave it on the flame for 2-3 minutes.
- The Upma recipe for the baby is ready.

Vegetable Khichdi
Even I love the Vegetable khichdi then why not the babies.
- Soak rice and green moong dal for 1 hour.
- In between, you can wash and cut the different healthy vegetables into pieces.
- After soaking, you can mix all the ingredients in the cooker.
- Add rock salt, turmeric, and water to it.
- Leave it on the flame for about 2-3 whistle.
- Open the cooker afterward and mash it properly.
- The khichdi is ready to eat.
Healthy Precautions for parents to keep in mind:
- If you seem that any foods are allergic to your baby then avoid them.
- If you are getting confused in selecting the right ingredients for a baby then do consult with a doctor or dieticians.
- Always use fresh ingredients.
- Always wash the ingredients properly before using them.
