  1. Aleve:

The most common of these is the opioids that come from the poppy plant. These opioids and other prescription painkillers are made of drugs that are considered and are not permitted to be sold freely without a doctor’s prescription.

These drugs are to be taken according to proper dosage, not more than prescribed or less because both situations can prove to be dangerous for your child. Some points to be noted about these drugs are:

  2. These prescription painkillers are considered to be too strong for pregnant women, no doctor in the world would recommend you to take these heavy painkillers.
  3. These prescribed drugs could be ao much harmful that they can even lead to miscarriage, stillbirth or even it increases the chances of premature birth.
  4. The other major problem associated with these drugs is at in case you are not able to deliver your baby yourself that is without doctors professional help in that case when the baby is inside your body he or she might catch some problems such as low birth weight, breathing problems and more than required drowsiness that does not even allow you to feed the child.

If we exactly see by the names you should strictly stop the intake of the following drugs such as Codeine, OxyContin (another name is oxycodone), Percocet (another name is oxycodone), Roxanol (another name is morphine), Demerol another name is meperidine), Duragesic (another name is fentanyl)and last is Vicodin (another name is hydrocodone).

These painkillers during pregnancy are recommended by the doctor in rare to rare cases where the disease or health condition prevailing in the mother’s body is very serious and curing it over pregnancy with these medicines is important. Moreover, the non-treatment of the disease might result in a more serious outcome than the possibility of issues in pregnancy.
