Organic Egg Shampoo

Ingredients: Egg 1, lemon juice 1 teaspoon, distilled water ½ cup, essential oil 6 drops, castile soap 1 teaspoon, and coconut oil at room temperature 1 teaspoon.

Method to prepare organic shampoo

Put all ingredients in a blender and run it until a smooth paste is formed. Collect the paste in a container that allows smooth poring and close the lid firmly. Place the container in the refrigerator and use the shampoo when needed. Remember to wash your hair only in lukewarm or tepid water in order to prevent the egg from forming globules that cannot be removed easily from the hair!

Organic Chamomile Shampoo

This shampoo can highlight the hair making it shine and glow with health.

Ingredients

Chamomile tea 2 cups (strong), essential oil 5 drops, glycerin ¾ tablespoons, Castile soap (grated) 3 tablespoons

Method for making organic chamomile shampoo

Cover the chamomile flowers with boiling water. Steep for 20 minutes and then, filter. Add this hot tea to the grated soap placed in a large container and let the mixture be for another fifteen minutes. Add the remaining ingredients to the container and whisk briskly until all ingredients blend into a smooth mixture. Your highlighting shampoo is ready.

  • For redheads, chamomile can be replaced by henna mix. The henna mixture is prepared in the following manner.
  • Add henna to water and set to boil.
  • To the mixture add a teaspoon of tea leaves and two drops of lemon juice.
  • Once the mixture thickens remove it from fire and strain.
  • Place the filtered liquid aside for a couple of hours, preferably in an iron container.
  • Use this liquid instead of chamomile tea and proceed as above.
  • For brunettes, chamomile can be replaced by sage.

Organic Hibiscus Shampoo

This shampoo nourishes dull and dry hair.

Ingredients

Hibiscus (preferably the red variety), castile soap 4 tablespoons (grated), ½ cup, hot water 1 cup, ½ cup coconut water that has not been sweetened, almond oil ½ teaspoon, essential oil 5 drops.

Method to prepare organic hibiscus shampoo

Soak the hibiscus flowers until soft and then strain. Blend all ingredients and store the mixture in an airtight container.
