 Asthma: Juice of fresh ginger is strong and pungent is effective in opening the chest and is used in the management of asthma attacks.

Arthritis: Swallowing one teaspoon of fenugreek (methi) seeds with a cup of hot water at bedtime helps to keep arthritis under control.

Burns: Make a paste of turmeric powder and water and apply to the affected area to get instant relief from a minor injury.

Nausea: Mix half a glass of soda water with the juice of half a lemon and sip slowly.

Mouth Ulcer: Chewing grated fresh coconut or applying coconut oil can provide relief.

Indigestion and Stomach Pain: Take one spoonful of ginger juice with half a teaspoon of ghee.

Toothache: Clove is antiseptic and can prevent infection. Placing a clove near the painful tooth is effective in reducing the pain.

Diabetes: A mixture of Amla and Turmeric is effective.

Dry cough: Amla with ghee is recommended.

Fever: A mixture of Amla and crystal sugar works well.

 White Vaginal Discharge: Take a mixture of one teaspoon of honey, one teaspoon of crystal sugar, and one gram of Amla.

Internal Bleeding: Honey taken with wild Amla is effective.

Burning and slow urination: Amla juice is recommended.

Hiccup: Amla powder with Pippali or Black pepper is effective.

Fear and Anxiety: Applying ghee on the temples and taking the tea made of cumin seeds, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, Rose petals, and jaggery.

Anger or Frustration: Applying ghee to the temples works. Juice of raisins after soaking it in water overnight blended with lemon juice is also effective.

Piles: A mixture of top cream of yogurt with Amla juice or powder taken twice a day provides relief.

Overweight: Guggulu is highly effective in weight reduction as it cleanses Medha Dhatu.

Anemia: Ayurveda recommends a home remedy of a cup of beetroot juice and a cup of apple juice mixed with honey or sugar to control and prevent anemia effectively and it speeds up the production of Red Blood Corpuscles. Giving breast milk to infants helps in preventing anemia.
