Foods rich in potassium like apples, oranges, potatoes, dried peaches, orange juice, and bananas are good.  Other foods such as skimmed milk, yogurt, yam, and kidney beans are also good for reducing uric acid in the body.  Celery, tomatoes, eggs, cheese, butter and peanut butter, corn, tart cherries, and parley and cabbage are recommended.
  6. Tea is also low in purines. Soy products like tofu, fibrous foods, lemon, chocolates and carbonated beverages are also good choices of foods to combat excess uric acid. Pineapples, red bell pepper, and red cabbage contain vitamin C and are highly effective in reducing uric acid naturally. Olive oil, nuts, and flax seeds are other foods to use for uric acid reduction.
