COVID-19 Coronavirus Outbreak
CoronaVirus (COVID-19) usually causes flu-like symptoms including a fever and cough.
In many patients – mainly the aged and others with other chronic health situations – these symptoms can grow into pneumonia, with the chest tightness, pain in chest, and some shortness of breath.
It looks to start with a mild fever, followed by a dry cough.
After or within a week, it can lead to shortness of breath, with about 22% of patients requiring hospital treatment.
Especially, the COVID-19 infection hardly seems to cause a runny nose, sneezing, or sore throat (these symptoms have been observed in only about 5% of patients). Sneezing, Sore throat, and stuffy nose are most often signs of a cold.
Symptoms can include:
- Fever
- Cough
