Exercises For A Sagging Neck

Best 6 Exercises For A Sagging Neck

As we age, our skin naturally loses elasticity, and this can lead to a sagging neck, sometimes referred to as “turkey neck”. While surgery is an option for some people, there are also exercises that can help to tone and tighten the neck muscles and improve the appearance of sagging skin. Here are some exercises to try:

  1. Chin Tuck:

Sit or stand with your shoulders relaxed and your back straight. Look straight ahead, and then gently tuck your chin towards your chest. You should feel a stretch in the back of your neck. Hold for 5-10 seconds, then release. Repeat 10-15 times.

  1. Neck Rotation:

Sit or stand with your shoulders relaxed and your back straight. Turn your head to the left, then slowly roll your chin towards your chest, and then turn your head to the right. Hold for 5-10 seconds at each position. Repeat 10-15 times.

These exercises can be done daily, and over time, they can help to tone and tighten the neck muscles and improve the appearance of sagging skin. However, it is important to note that exercise alone may not be enough to completely eliminate sagging skin.
